English Game Day 15. октября sekretar
There was an English Game Day on the 15th October in Mäetaguse. The participants were year 6 students from the three Alutaguse schools – Illuka School, Mäetaguse Basic School and Iisaku Gymnasium. The Game Day started with icebreakers, followed by finding team mates and then playing Alutaguse Jeopardy. In the Jeopardy, students had to show their knowledge on their home county, English language and pop-culture. Then there was a small dance and music break after what came a Tongue Twister Telephone game. The old classic Simon says got large dimensions in the Ultimate Simon Says Challenge. Little bit of music and a game called a mixer- an elephant- a toaster and it was time for lunch. After lunch there was free time to play different English word, table and guessing game, such as Scrabble, Dix It, Hangman, Charades and Pictionary and many more. As it was possible to win points for various activities, the best three teams got awarded. Big thank you to the participants and to the helpers from Iisaku year 9.
