Concert- chat room 17. November sekretar

On November 7, musicians Kaarin Aamer and Jaanus Põlder from Kiviõli Arts School visited our school. 2nd-4th grade students learned stories about Estonian folk instruments: their history, making and playing. The children also figured out the answers to the instrument riddles and guessed which animal or bird the played instrument piece represented. We saw and heard a mandolin, a small and a large dulcimer, a violin, a harmonica, a long whistle, a windpipe and a bagpipe, as well as several other exciting self-made instruments. After the concert-chat room, the children could explore and play the instruments themselves.

We thank our guests for a lively and educational concert-chat room!
