On Tuesday, 27.05.25, the 4th and 5th grade students took part in an exciting time-travel experience in Palamuse, where we visited the Oskar Luts Parish School Museum. The guided tour gave an informative overview of Oskar Luts’s life and his school years.

Fun games, brave game leaders, tasty snacks, and great friends – this is exactly what our  Primary School picnic day at the Mäetaguse stadium was like!
The children’s joy and the shared moments in nature made it a day we will remember for a long time!

The wonderful activities were made possible thanks to the help of teachers: Helgi, Svetlana, and Tiina.

On May 22, students from grades 1–3 visited the Tallinn Centre for Children's Literature.
Thematic lessons took place:
Grade 1 – “My Special Friends”
Grade 2 – “From Sipsik to Pokus”
Grade 3 – “From Table to Tablet”

To make the way to school safer, 5th grade students helped mark pedestrian crossings with the message “Stop, look, make sure!”
In doing so, they contributed to improving traffic safety and set an example of responsible behavior.

The good weather we had hoped for our long-planned Orienteering Day didn’t show up and ended up playing a trick on us.

Students and teachers braved the tough weather conditions for the first two lessons. Mixed teams navigated through the manor park and completed various tasks at the checkpoints. The tasks were based on different school subjects, including history, music, math, science, geography, and languages.

Our school's excellent 2nd grade students – Eliine, Mariann Eleri, and Krete-Karolin – achieved fourth place at the Nupula competition for 2nd grade students, which took place on April 4th at Kiviõli State Gymnasium.

As part of the Year of the Book, a sporty competition was held today to determine our very own Linda and Kalevipoeg.

Students from lower and upper secondary levels had the chance to test themselves in various strength and agility challenges.
The Lindas competed in baby carrying, stone rolling, and bucket carrying.
The Kalevipoegs showcased their strength in stone carrying, weight holding, and pull-ups.

Today, on International Joke Day, we celebrated a No-Schoolbag Day at school to bring variety to the daily routine and encourage students to think creatively. Instead of regular schoolbags, students had to bring their learning materials in inventive and imaginative carriers, which added playfulness to the day and brought lots of joy to both students and teachers. This special school day made the everyday routine more fun and enlivened school life, offering everyone memorable moments.

An interesting and educational first aid training session!

On March 26th, students from Tallinn Health Care College visited our school and conducted an engaging first aid training session for students in grades 6-9.

The students gained knowledge about life-saving techniques and reinforced their understanding through practical exercises.
