Dear students, parents and teachers!

Youth centres of Alutaguse County have rearranged their work due to the present complicated situation in our country and rest of the world. Nevertheless our organisations still offer interesting activities and share important information on forthcoming events.

Maetaguse Basic School continues studies as usual, only from distance with the help of digital devices. Our work is based on the usual lesson plan and so far everything has gone well because we have experience from previous digital learning days. Both students and teachers take their job responsibilities very seriously.

WE can manage!

Submitted by htm.admin on

From March 9 to 13 there was the mother tongue week in our school. The whole school suggested the most beautiful words in Estonian. Writer Andrus Kivirähk visited our school too and  read aloud his fascinating stories. After that students asked a lot of questions. In the competition were the best Jordan, Liisi, Allan, Sander and Anette. Congratulations to them!

The most beautiful  Estonian word in the opinion of the school family was  ema(mother). Thanks to all participants!
