Mother Tongue Week 09. March sekretar


The second week of March we celebrate mother tongue week.

 On Monday our school family members are asked to write down what is in their opinion the most beautiful word in the Estonian language, and at the end of the day, the most beautiful word is chosen.

On Tuesday, there is a poetry-reading contest for grades 4 to 9 in the auditorium.

On Wednesday there is a within school Estonian language competition for grades 4 to 9.

On Thursday we have a visitor who is a well known Estonian writer Andrus Kivirähk.

And Friday is the time to conclude the mother tongue week in Mäetaguse culture centre and there is also a play to watch named The Manor of the Laswells.
