International Dance Day

Date created 05.05.2020

On the 29th April 13.05 Estonian Broadcasting radio station Vikerraadio played a traditional music and many people started to dance. This year people did a traditional dance called Kuo tu tetsu which is originally from Saaremaa. The students of Mäetaguse Basic School danced the short dance with the members of their family at home and recorded it as a part of their PE lesson aswell as our school tradition. Due to Covid-19 students had to learn the dance by themselves online, nevertheless, everybody did a great job.  Some of the teachers and students even got together outside on a damp and cold spring day to dance together with their families and keeping a safe distance from ohter dancers. You can watch the result on our school’s Facebook page.
